Guanghong Zhuhai Hi-techIndustrial Development Zone National Foreign Trade Transformation And Upgrading Base (Integrated Circuit)：1. Overview Guanghong Zhuhai Hi-techIndustrial Development Zone National Foreign Trade Transformation And Upgrading Base (Integrated Circuit) was founded in 2011. Under the guidance and support of both the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Department of commercial affairs of Zhuhai, the development of the software and IC enterprises in the zone has maintained steadily. Not only the amount of exports and the profitability have rapidly increased, the industrial structure and the cluster construction have optimized and achieved ideally. In 2022, the gross revenue of the software and IC enterprises in the zone reached more than 57 billion RMB, growing at an annual rate of 5.48 percent.. 2. Organization Structure Under the leadership of provincial and municipal commerce departments, the demonstration zone has set up the Workstation of software and IC foreign trade, which major responsibilities include the implementation and development of nurturing project, the status analysis of demonstration zone and the provision of guidance for enterprises in expanding their export markets. And hence, favorable conditions were provided for the enterprises to facilitate the prosperity of the zone and themselves through the promotion of collective marks registration, brand cultivation, public service platform construction and international market development. 3. Merits of the Demonstration Zone (1) Local brands cultivation The demonstration zone has applied for the collective marks, aimed at integrating resources, raising the competitiveness of the software and IC products, protecting the achievements of the industries and improving the awareness of local brands. (2) Enterprise cooperation in international market expansion In order to explore international markets by unifying the exquisite booth and publicity image, the demonstration zone has encouraged enterprises to participate in International Fairs and communicate with several international organizations. Besides, the zone has utilized the electronic and communication information platform to expand overseas e-commerce and international markets through various channels. (3) Public service platform construction and public service enhancement The zone possesses several platforms, for instance, the software testing public service platform, IC design technology public service platform, multimedia technology & SoC design public service platform, to provide testing, R&D, information and personnel training services for export enterprises. For the sake of improving service quality, the demonstration zone strives to construct both the foreign trade transformation and upgrading service platform and the industrial design visualization service platform. (4) Corporation image enhancement and industrial achievements promotion Apart from ensuring that enterprises are being stronger and better, we strive to promote enterprises’ image and industrial achievements. We are not only seizing every opportunity to show the status and trends of software and IC enterprises (industries) in Zhuhai High-tech Zone, but also planning to form high value-added industries with regional characteristics, leading enterprises and high additional value brand by gathering industries and their superiority conditions to accelerate the process of implementing the foreign trade transformation.
